It probably had more to do with the stranglehold Bear had on winning the conference. Without beating UA, you weren't going to be SEC champs. Don't flatter yourself. Last I checked, Dye helped put an end to that consistent reign and won 4 SEC Championships.

Man don't even call it a rivalry. Forced rivalries are not rivalries. I'm only including Clemson and Georgia. And yes Georgia fans I realize we're not a rivalry to you all.

Look at our overall record vs. UGA. It's like 45-19 UGA.
