Sometimes I work on Saturday and have to record the game.

My question to others is how do you prevent finding out the score or results ahead of time?

I'd have to turn my phone off and have no contact with the people I know to avoid being told the outcome

You might try working while at work.

Turn off phone and do not access the web.

Once I recorded A Steelers game; thought to go by the store on the way home for extra beer and forgot I had a Steelers cap on.

First guy I saw said: "Tough loss dude."

And for radio, I always make sure I put it on a music station, to avoid hearing anything, before I'm able to change the station, after work.
Also, if in the area of the school. Avoid going to the store as well.

I dunno. A thrilling win? I'd hate to be spoiled. A tough loss? Frees up masturbation time you would otherwise have wasted watching your team go down in flames.

I've found murdering whomever tries to tell me the score works very well!

The one benefit you get by recording the game to watch later, is that you can watch the game in about 2 hours real time vs. 4.5 on CBS live.

I almost got spoiled last Saturday, recording UGA vs AUB because I was going to miss the beginning, and at and had to go into Kroger on the way home, and of course they are playing the damn game on the loudspeakers in the store.

I walked around singing to myself like a psychopath so I wouldn't hear anything. It was tough. Scott Howard's voice cuts through like a razor. Great radio voice.
