Save this post. It'll save you some time in 2016 when you try convince yourself (again) that LSU will win because of the DV mystique.

I down voted this because you spent all that time looking up stats and your thread still sucks!

That's awesome you feel so strongly about it. The only problem is the facts don't back you up. Since the turn of the century, LSU leads the series 4-3 in Baton Rouge. That is not exactly "owning our arse in Baton Rouge."

While we are on the subject, LSU "owns your arse in Tuscaloosa". LSU leads the series in the same time frame 5-2.

I hope these facts can keep you looking like a dumb arse in the future. Good luck.

2008- #1 Bama goes to OT against the worst LSU team under Les Miles. 2010- Bama (McElroy, Ingram, J. Jones, etc) loses to LSU (Jordan Jefferson) in Death Valley 2012- #1 Bama (Eventual champs, McCarron, Lacy, Mosely, Milliner, etc) barely escapes with a win against an average LSU team in Death Valley. I would argue that all three matchups were very lobsided on paper in Bama's favor. I think this year the teams are somewhat evenly matched with a slight advantage to Bama. A slight talent advantage will not be enough to overcome the Death Valley factor. Bama should expect to lose.
Now does this seem like the type of guy who would make excuses?....nah!

I gain confidence reading shite like his.

I've been to Tuscaloosa 3 times in the last 9 years and we won all 3.

He sounds like someone trying to convince himself for sure.

I'm glad there's not as much riding on this game as usual. I may actually enjoy it for a change. Lol

Perhaps one day yall will understand that this doesn't phase Alabama. When you have an 80 yard drive in a minute and half to win the game with no timeouts, clearly you DGAF about a bunch of drunks hollering in the stands.

We own your arse in Baton Rouge. I know yall read articles and quotes about how great tiger stadium is, and it's a fine venue for a football game, but the University of Alabama football team owns your arse in Baton Rouge. Please stop bringing up the "death valley factor" in regards to Alabama, because history has proven we just don't give a frick. This is Alabama we're talking about buddy, we are used to the hostility, we are used to the target on our back, and we own Tiger Stadium.

Someone started drinking way early for the game Saturday night.

I think it's fair to say that LSU has been much better at home this year and Bama has been much worse away from BDS. This will be another close game.

So since this is a godawful LSU team, Bama should win in OT? Or on a last second screen pass. Gotcha.

Good to know you're resigned to your fate.

Come on though. Be honest.

Wouldn't you rather just get bent over during the first half and be able to make it back out to your tailgate by the third quarter?

Who wants to be stuck in the stands until the fourth only to have your souls crushed by a spectacular play by a superior team?

He certainly does. I love when someone is so emphatic and so wrong.
