I am making A&M look good by pointing out that A&M has the power to take Bama's coach who is beloved at the time. A&M also broke the coach stealing mold when we hired Jackie Sherill from Pitt. This was unreal at the time.
My post was 100% pro A&M - you come in and are probably 4 of the posters and shoot down an extremely positive Aggie thread.

Yeah...and most sanctions are actually a slap on the wrist. What Alabama got was second only to the death penalty in severity. Only one university has had equally as bad as Alabama had it in 2002 and that was USC in 2010. What did Pete Carroll do? He bolted for the NFL after 9 seasons with the Trojans.

I'm surprised we were as shocked as we were when we woke up one morning to find Fran in College Station. His absences and lack of preparation against Auburn and Hawaii was very evident.
