We're just not as good. Simple as that. We can't throw the ball away either

There's no reason to believe LSU CAN'T win. They absolutely can. It's just less probable than the alternative. We might drop this one, particularly because no one knows Lyles' status right now (Cal has been trolling the fan base saying they've lost Lyles).

Depth at the 4 and 5 spots.

Overall depth. We can play 11 guys if necessary.

Tempo changes in game between platoons makes it difficult to keep adjusting.

LSU has no depth, loves to turn the ball over, and routinely takes awful shots. Martin would rather be a SG, and Kentucky prob wont be as bothered by Mickey as most SEC teams. Could get ugly.

Where Kentucky is good LSU is ok. Where LSU is good Kentucky is better.
Shot selection is a BIG key for LSU. If they force a lot of bad shots and don't value their possessions it will get ugly. IF they take good shots and take care of the basketball they have a chance.

1. coaching
2. We have only one player that would start for Kentucky- one player that would get significant bench playing time
3. We don't play consistently on offense or defense
4. I don't think JJ is a master motivator like Dale or Skip- our only chance to win

I just hope it does not get ugly early.

If we play the best game we have played all year and JJ does his best coaching job we have a "chance" for an upset.

Can't? Idk about that.

But the reason Kentucky is the clear favorite in the game is because they're one of the most talented college basketball teams ever assembled.

LSU playing terrible ball lately has alot to do with expectations as well. If LSU was just coming off that WVU win, the perception of this game would be very different.

If LSU can't beat Auburn, what makes anyone think they will be within 30 points of Kentucky?

LSU could actually put up a pretty good fight. At least I hope they do. Should be a fun one to watch.
