Without LSU, Arkansas and Florida how many championships does the SEC win consistently

I think the SEC is (in our collective reasoning) the best conference because on ANY given Saturday during football season there is a pride that exudes from Vandy to Bama. With that pride comes acceptance (we give each other a hard time but don't fight our brother or we will fight you). With midnight madness comes a renewed hope of the hard court that every team has a chance (see USCe and others). When the spikes hit the dirt a feeling of America's past time coming home. Our southern bells catching up with the rest of the nation in softball that was light years ahead of us but we have made it.
Bottom line, it just feels right. Southern hospitality meets all the games we played when we were young.
Oh, and bass fishing. We can fish a mud hole dry.

I have credit to all of the SEC for football even though Alabama is clearly the King of the conference.
South Carolina went back to back.
Vanderbilt won a title a few years ago.
Mississippi State and Georgia were in the championship series within the last 10 years.

Don't act like this millennium the SEC hasn't owned college foootball. Over half the NC (9 out of 17) have gone to the SEC. Not sure what your alluding to in this thread but it's pretty stupid whatever it is. Sure last year was an off year (albeit Bama was one play of winning the Champ again) but don't act like the SEC won't be back.
