I don't get it.
What don't you get? You think he is too high or too low on the list?

What is there in his record to justify ranking him higher?

We lay a beating on Louisville and Petrino is at #10 with the Heisman Trophy winner...
REALLY?
Let's see, Petrino has essentially built 3 programs(Louisville twice) and O has destroyed one and been able to maintain two half seasons elsewhere. Yeah I can see why you are mad...

As an LSU fan, I think it's way too high honestly. If you want it to be higher, he has to prove it this year.

No one on this board has any real idea how successful Orgeron will be at LSU.
Gene Stallings was 27–45–1 at A&M and 23–34–1 in the NFL before he came to Alabama, and he did pretty good there, didn't he?
Why don't we wait and see?

Ed O can make a HUGE leap in these rankings this year.

Because there isn't enough data to make a conclusion. They don't know where to put him.
He has a 7-23 record in SEC play

Who cares man..they can't predict futures to see how he's going to do. Stop worrying so much lol..

Why would he be any higher? He doesn't even have a winning season as a head coach yet.

It's not that big a accomplishment to go 6-2 at LSU with the talent he had.
My fear of Orgeron isn't the game day stuff, it's his ability/lack thereof to keep the program rolling over time, with all the little stuff.
He recruited well at Ole Miss, but the program stepped backwards while he was there, it was better both before and afterwards.
I guess we'll see in 3 years if LSU is on solid ground, or is backsliding.

Barry Odom was the only one to finish behind Orgeron

I think so as well, but at the moment, it is a fair ranking. If you only go with what he has done in the past, it seems appropriate.
But at LSU I am sure he will do much better than he did at Ole Miss.

However, after a 6-2 run as USC’s interim coach in 2013
I said it before, and I;ll say it again: that had far more to do with just getting rid of the cancer that was Lane Kiffin than it did with Ed O. Addition by subtraction. That said, I think Ed O could be good for y'all.

only played one decent team as well

I dont see a problem with the rating. Hes done well as an interim and sucked as a head coach at Ole Miss.
He shall remain 81 until he proves otherwise. Heres to hoping he does.
