No one in the SEC is afraid of OU and Texas. That doesn’t mean they won’t be good and occasionally great. But, that’s how half a dozen SEC teams are year in and year out. It’s a battle every year. What difference does adding two more competitive teams to the mix make?

I read Kentucky, South Carolina, Arkansas and Vanderbilt. Congratulations.

It’s a terrible article don’t read it again

“OU and UT are good will make things difficult for others “ is the sum of its “content.”

I see UTa doing more than any other school since the first expansion.

I believe OU is completely delusional quite like Aggy when they first joined.

The article makes some valid points but the author is an idiot. Arkansas was never in the Big 12.

OU is about to travel the same road Nebraska ventured down when they joined the Big 10..

So judging by the AP Poll, the SEC added a blue blood roughly the same tier as Alabama plus another team that is a bit ahead of the next group of SEC teams.

So yeah, everyone who wasn't secure in their position has probably got an extra loss on average.

you should be. Mizzou definitely won't be invited to whatever replaces the SEC.

OU and Texas will have it much harder i suspect every road game will be like the superbowl for some and vice versa ... it shall be fun!... Games worth watching .

So you’re using a measure that goes back to 1936 and applying to now and the future?
Are you intelligent?

Try your chart and conclusions for the last 20 years or so.

Lots of old wins lurking there that aren't relevant anymore. See Nebraska and Notre Dame.

Schools struggling to keep up isn’t an OU/UT thing. That’s just the nature of this now being a semi-pro sport. Programs who are good with that will breakaway from the universities who want to keep it as collegiate athletics.

That was my thought as well. Very poorly written.
