Not that State would even be interested, but Beamer isn't leaving SC for State

I mean, he's already at State -> East. Not sure how going to State makes his life any easier.

He's getting floated for a raise, you gotta think.

If I am State I am camped out between Montgomery and Enterprise. I would do the same if I were Arkansas or ATM but both of them probably think they are above it.

You fired Jimbo during a bye week

That decision had already been made. The outcome of the TAMU/MSU game was irrelevant.

You will get whoever is leftover from our coaching search, and you will like it!

First and foremost……does MSU have any plans for an aggressive NIL program?

NIL is what recruiting has become and a good coach with options is going to want a school that has a solid NIL plan. It’s really no different than trying to hire a coach while having a large number do scholarships stripped because of probation.

They do...they have a deal where some players get preferred share cropping status...the more games State wins the larger the share of the cotton crop they get...

Why has Rich Rod not been mentioned? Other than Michigan, he's done well wherever he's been.

Hates to recruit and his offensive style is somewhat dated. As an Ole Miss fan, I would LOVE them to hire Rich Rod

There is a stark difference between USC and Miss State. USC is a real football program. MSU is not. What does the stadium seat in Starkevegas? 60K? USC's seats 80K. Starke Vegas has about 25K people, Columbia has about 150K. The fact that MSU has a better program than USC is really amazing....and I imagine based on the level of talent in Mississippi which is very high.

Man you are dumb.. Do a little fact checking before just spewing stupid shite like that..If we aren't a good program how'd we get so many high paid former players in the NFL?

Elko is the guy here. I like Fritz but not sure if his age is a factor.

You are such a shitty poster.

Clanga and Cocks are nearly identical.

Winning percentage - .509 to .494
Conference championships - 1 (tied)
Bowl games - 26 to 25
Consensus all-Americans - 4 to 3
NFL draft picks - 216 to 209
First round draft picks - 16 to 15
Weeks in AP poll - 209 to 191

The only difference is Cocks have George Rogers and Clanga was ranked #1 for a very brief moment in time.

I wouldn't think Fritz would leave for a total rebuild at his age, but that's what he likes to do, so you never know.

Longo was good at UNC but he had Drake Maye throwing it for him so idk if you really want him without an elite QB.
