9-3 possibly 10-2. It'd be our luck to go 12-0 and have to play Bama again in the playoffs. And we all know what happens when they get a chance at a rematch that they don't deserve....

OK st blew out OU to win their conference and definitely deserved the chance to play LSU. All while Bama was resting up watching on tv not winning the SEC. Was OK st better than Bama? Obviously not, but they deserved the chance. You give nick Saban a second chance in the same season and he won't make the same mistakes that he made the first go around.

The voters and computers don't agree with you.
The system that was used at the time says that Alabama had the better resume and deserved to be in the game.

To be fair, OK State lost to Iowa State very late in the season. At that point it was pretty obvious that Bama was going to be in.

Just my opinion. I belived a conference champion deserved the chance especially after the butt kicking they gave OU. This and the 04 season were the main reasons of starting the playoff.

Yeah that L was an eyesore to the voters which ultimately knocked them out. It was still impressive that a week later they didn't mope around and kicked OU's arse.
