LOL VC you can look at my post I like having fun (trolling) Arky fans just as much as anyone, but I don't get what you are trying to do here, seriously?
So what if we are better in OOC games, so what if they are better? What's the point?
And actually I do like some of the arky posters, if you think that makes me a "closet" arky fan then so be it, but the last time I checked "VC" wasn't on my I give a shite what he thinks list..

Oregon State was 7-5 in 2004, and never ranked once, yet you listed them as a ranked win in your OP.

You have not posted any poll listing Oregon State #23, you have listed LSU's schedule on Wikipedia.
We have listed the AP Poll, and all polls for the 2004 season both preseason and after the season and even during the season, that do not have Oregon State ranked.
LINK ME TO AN OFFICIAL POLL THAT SHOWS OREGON STATE #23 VC.

BTW, there were many years at the time in which multiple teams claimed a share of the national championship. You're trying to apply today's method of determining a champion to 1964 and it just doesn't work that way.
No I'm not, I'm simply stating that the AP nor the UPI awarded Arkansas the national championship...those were by far the top two media outlets.....yes, there were many more insignificant ones....and there were various teams awarded, thus arkansas was awarded by some second tier media, in terms of respectability.....so claim it...doesn't matter....just the big guys did not award you. That has a lot to do with bama claiming 28 national championships instead of the legitimate 11 or 12 that they have.

At least one source got the idea right. Award the title after a bowl game. Had we not been the reason to change it, we would have back to back national titles.

Downplay the FWAA all you want but it was a legit publication at the time that still exists. Many claim national titles awarded by them. Also, Arkansas has been awarded titles by those "other" publications that you alluded to that we do not claim.

no it was not in terms of national recognition...it was always, at least since the middle of the century, the AP and UPI that were the two major outlets that awarded national championships.
