Ok not really.. but I don't get the hype of the performance of LSU.. I mean they were playing mormons.

L6U defense was stout not scary stout but certainly capable of keeping a mormon football team from crossing the 50.

The offense was certainly more proficient than I had seen in a while, Etling was solid and the running game was strong... I mean it should have been right? They were playing mormons..

L6U looks like a very solid team but they had no players or plays that seemed very threatening (in respect to a Bama D). L6 fans seem to think they are ready to play big boy ball again after a pretty long absence... I'm not sure how they'll fair when they're not playing mormons tho.

I remember plenty of years where LSU should've beat the dog nipples off their opponents but couldn't get the offense going. They won, but it wasn't really pretty.

I can see why they're excited this year. They look good

LSU looks miles ahead on offense than any previous year.

But BYU only scored 20 on Portland State. So, I don't get the over-reaction defense love the fans are giving the team.

I would say they are scary stout, given the fact the LSU was without two starters and more than a few rotation guys on defense due to suspension.

I agree with everything you said. LSU and Bama are both pretty average this year.

We were without 3 starters if you include Key

This is accurate.

Bama will make it 7 this year.

Because when you hold any opponent to -5 rushing yards and 97 total yards that is an accomplishment. If BYU was playing bama and the same result people would be jerking off Saban even more. Eat shite and gfy

Ummm No.... Bama played angry savage native americans.. LSU played mormons. LSU only scored 27 with almost no resistance (save for the MORMON Stand) Bama played a team who's defense is easily better than L6's and still scored 24 while "struggling"

Until you can stop the streak please don't compare L6 with Bama... I'm asking nicely

If Etling can play as poised and comfortable every week like he did against BYU then LSU will have a very good year.

Yeah, not allowing a team that's probably going to a bowl game to cross the 50 without 4 defensive starters isn't anything to get excited about.

Dave Aranda's last two games have been nothing short of phenomenal. In modern day college football what LSU is doing on defense is really impressive

LOL naahhh.. Bama fans would not be impressed since Portland state held them to 20... We held FSU to 40yds with 2 high level backs and a running QB. Let's just see how you guys develop before we start equalling you guys with Bama

Those savages were easily conquered by the European pilgrims. The Mormons have dug in and expanded their cult to incredible numbers. I give the nod to the Mormons
