Did anyone hear the announcer's talking last night after the FG was kicked to win the game that there goes USC's chance at a national title this year.....this made me a little

I'm as optimistic as they come, and there's no way we're winning anything with that defense, so it's probably just as well we're not bowl eligible. We're down to hoping we beat ND and ucla. Anything else from this season is gravy.

I can see why you'd be bitter over your coach leaving you for a PAC 10 team, taking his pretty wife with him, and leaving you with wholesome "hostesses" for company. I understand the hatred for the left coast after Oregon basically running through you like bad barbeque at rush hour.

I wouldn't like Kiffin, even if he wasn't a coach, and I had just met him at a church function. He's a complete, stand-alone idiot. Whoever recommended his hiring must secretly hate USC.

I could see why Tennessee was upset at first. However, now that USC is 99 in total defense and 116 against the pass, I think they should probably let it go.
It was like Fran jilting Alabama. It was bad at first but after he destroyed aTm everything seemed better.

I bought in to all the kiffin hype. I won't lie about it. But looking back I do think we are better off without the guy. He doesn't understand what Tennessee football is about. He doesn't understand what the SEC is about. Kiffin is about Kiffin. He will not last at USC. It is all smoke and mirrors. All alot of talk. The proof is in the results. And his results speak for themselves....

Next couple of years after this 8-5 might be acceptable, because of the severity of scholarship reductions. But there's no excuse for losing more than 4 games in a season at USC.
Just my take.
