Well, there was that drop-it-in-the-bucket onside kick in the fourth quarter of a tight national championship game. I'm sure nobody will remember that though.

Your average fan can't tell you who kicked off for Stanford, who scored for Cal, and who caught that pass from Flutie. Do you know why? Because like auburn, none of those teams won shite. Griffith played a major part in winning a national championship game, a damn good one. People will remember Chris Davis and a Golden Horseshoe from kick 6. The onside kick was Griff to Humphrey, and Leo Messi couldn't have placed it better
