It dont look that bad. Ridiculous shite like this is one of the things that makes the SEC the best conference IMO. The more retarded, the better.
Also, it wouldn't be as funny if any other team in the SEC did it. I dont think it's possible for Bert to pull off cool/intimidating. When he walks out, slow-mo with the smoke and music. I was waiting for Shriners in little go karts to come out behind him.

Terrible... This and the snout suck. Doesn't anyone poll the fans before they do this kind of stuff? I highly doubt the majority of the hogs want this one.

They've had "something" to run through for well over a decade. We've had a plywood (best guess) looking hog snout that was just garbage. They replaced it with a just as garbagey inflatable snout. Looked like a cartoon.
Should we do anything? Eh - who cares? I'm betting this is a recruiting ploy to try to lure impressionable young people to campus by making them think we're doing something unique. In that sense, we NEED to be the ones trying different strategies.
And I'm now convinced that they did it this way to house Tusk or something during the game, eventually. Even if he doesn't eventually lead the hogs out on to the field, I could see them keeping him in the pen during the game instead of his trailer.
