so you don't think the system they play in or offensive coaches they have makes a different in their performance/stats?
Um. In a way. I think Brandon Allen's system embraces the fact that he is a game manager and was so terrible he was only trusted with low risk throws and that therefore contributed to his only admirable stat, his low INT total. But if Brandon Allen played in Sumlin's system, he'd give up way more sacks, throw way more INTs per attempt, but his yards per attempt and TDs per attempt would probably be about the same. Might equate to more yards and TDs overall, but he'd be less effective in a system that made the defense key in on him more. Brandon Allen sucked on an Arkansas offense that makes him the least important asset. That's saying something.

Why are we so focused on these 4 quarterbacks when there are 9 others that warrant discussion?
Vandy doesn't count since Patton Robinette quit, which means they don't have any quarterbacks worth talking about anymore.

You want another picture besides putting kyle allen into the arkansas system. Try to image brandon allen running the a&m offense. they wouldn't have won a game.
I like your style. A lot.

When I told the op Allen wasn't the 2nd best qb i wasn't trying to make rant fodder, i was trying to have a legitimate discussion. Besides that I had just made a spring qb thread. My first real thread mind you, lol. And then the op made this garbage claim on a thread very similar to mine 10 minutes after i had made my thread. noone else made a spring qb thread in the last 3 pages. he straight up stole my idea.my thread was basically anchored after he made this garbage so i came after it. end of story. well not exactly............. the dude stole my thread idea so i guess i made this one mine. I still think brandon allen is hellu average.

reads like a slam on Kevin Sumlin

he's an above average QB in a league that isn't very strong at the position, thus the high ranking.
well that and Stonehog doin' a little Friday morning fished. worked obv

So after page 3 or 4 I gave up. Can someone give me a recap on this? I just see Hog fans fighting

So what is the appropriate amount of respect I'm supposed to have for him? I think he's the worst part of Arkansas's offense, that he wouldn't start for any other SEC West team, and he has no real potential to get better.

did he not improve from 2013-2014? serious ?

well...I'm sure he'll be better than what OM puts on the field this season. I won't even mention the other elephant in the room.
Not so sure he wouldn't start for Bama

you found the one long pass he probably threw all season and it was to a tight end. like i said repeatedly his only threatening go to. i'm glad you saved 20000 to be a smart arse to someone keeping it real and a hog poster. you wasted the good surprise on me.....

Probably threw? How many games you watch? sounds like zero
Should I mention the bowl game against the team referenced in your avi? That would just be another example...

Not really. Same glaring mistakes persisted all season. Opposing defenses had to respect the run far more last year. That's honestly the biggest reason for any improvement you saw.
