We get Lattimore back plus the running backs behind him are proven.

I'm just not sure how effective Lattimore will be coming off the injury. I think he'll be pretty strong, but just don't think he'll be up to full speed this year or having the cutting ability he had before the injury. Shaw will be the difference maker I think this year for yall, not the running game.

I don't disagree with the decision to start Jefferson. The option game appeared to be one of the only weaknesses in the Alabama defense going into the national title game and Jefferson was a dual threat (....kind of.)

My problem is with not putting Lee in there in the third quarter, because holy hell was it obvious that Jefferson was not going to get it done.

Yeah, now you're deflecting. No one here said hes going to be the best QB ever.

Hey, lets push in a QB who has never started a College Football game in against Alabama in the national championship while we are getting our asses whipped!

Oh wait..that happend 3 years ago..to Garret Gilbert. HE TURNED OUT FINE

You fricking moron

Kirby stating he hoped they would run it, earlier in the week shoulda kinda gave them a heads up.

At least for a series, to see if it created a spark. But his success against Bama was pretty limited in the past, so I can see why he didn't go in too.

If Mett was so good he should have been playing all of last year. You still would have won all of the regular season games, and you would have a QB with experience heading into this year. The world knew that JJ and Lee wernt SEC QB's, why play them at all?

Well yeah but you still have to go with what worked last time when the defense has no other visible weakness and at least try it and adjust if it fails.

Nope. Owning LSU fans that are repeating the same bullshite over and over again. I think its funny. They are basically admitting that their coach sucks.

Lee and Jefferson were both seniors that had been starting for three straight years.

Is this cat serious?

We don't beat Alabama without Jefferson. No way LSU beats Oregon with Mett starting. SEASON OVER at that point.

Because they did their job and didn't frick up. Lee had an incredible TD/INT ratio. Jefferson didn't do bad last season either.
