1. UF- Until they lose they are the best in the South and nation.

2. Bama- Solid on both sides, now lets see if they can hold Throwing Circus act that is Arkansas under 300.

3. Ole Miss- Just keep winning and hope the short week doesnt bite them in the arse

4. LSU- Just keeps winning, what else are they supposed to do?

5. UGA- Two SEC wins, Two shootouts, hopefully for the defenses sake it gets easier sometime.

6. Auburn- Big win, unbeaten, handled some adversity well today. Gene is posied for failure, will be all his fault, even if they go 11-1.

7. UK- I cant keep ranking them 10th or 11th, they find ways to win, despite Rich Brooks.

8. Arkansas- The Throwing Circus needs help from Willy, dont think it will be there. Petrino needs to remember who Michael Smith is also.

9. UT- Good game today, might be fool's gold. Kiffin may actually have all of us fooled.

10. Carolina- Garcia needs to play well for all 4 quarters, the defense deserves that much.

11. MSU- Big win, Mullen may teach them a newer version of that Dawg Pound rock.

12. Vandy- Just when I want to praise them they go and blow a home game that they should win. I think I gave Johnson way too much credit lately.

UF - Ill leave them there, although they don't look as good as last year. I think louis and harvin leaving are hurting them.

Bama - Looking more and more solid week by week. Let's keep the Arky offense under control.

Ole Miss - looked good on the score board today, but have yet to see them play a worthy oppenent. I really consider them a tie with LSU.

LSU - don't get to high on urselves cause of Washingtons performance. USC is a choke artist, we've seen it before, and they were more setup for it this year. Plus they were overrated as usual. But LSU is winning.

Georgia - hurting but winning, they seem to have a good bit of talent, but are beating themselves and not playing as a focused team

Tennessee - their defense is for real, all they need is a Qb, but they don't have one, so here they sit

Auburn and Arky Tied - Arky offense is impressive so far, but defense sucks. Auburn appears to be a middle of the pack balanced team.

USCe

MSU

Kentucky

Vandy

Kinda off topic, but nationally the SEC is looking at 1 UF, 3 Bama, 4/5 Ole Miss (depending on what happens with Penn State since they were tied last poll), 7 LSU. Pretty ridiculous.

Exactly. That struggle with lowly Memphis and blowout of SE Louisiana is certainly enough to propel them over a team that already has a win against a top-10 team under its belt. You, sir, are a genius.

I wouldn't exactly call 45-14 a struggle.
You, sir, are a genius.

If you watched the game instead of trolling for scores you would have. But I guess I made the mistake of assuming you had more than a superficial knowledge of the teams you were talking about.

The only thing in Ole Miss' defense was it was opening day and it is a "rivalry" game for Memphis. A win for them makes their year.

I would honestly rank Arkansas 10th right now in the SEC. We're horrible, We'll be damned lucky to win 3 SEC games IMHO.

No they are better offensively than Carolina and I think if they play UT they win because of Crompton

I'm 38 and out of shape, and could probably throw for 300 yards and a couple of TDs against Arkansas. We are AWFUL. our DB's didn't even know where the ball was when it was in the air half the time.

I think there is a clearcut top 4 of Florida, Bama, Ole Miss, and LSU. From that point forward, it's kind of tough UGA and Auburn probably round out the top half of the SEC.

Well if you are 38 and from Arkansas, you are excused. Because as you know, we did not learn what the forward pass was when Holtz and Hatfield were coaching here. I mean the best QB of the state at the time went to play RB at OU and the second best QB from Arkansas ran the Wing-T.

1. Bama- They have looked impressive on offense and defense so far this year.

2. Florida- I might be off their undefeated bandwagon. If Tennessee had an offense we may have had an upset. Maybe this was their bic up game of season and they become motivated rest of year.

3. LSU- Nice win against Washington looks better after today

4. Ole Miss- It was SELU

5. Auburn- Showed me a little something against West Virginia tonight

6. Georgia- Its going to be and ugly and fun season at the same time

7. Kentucky- It may not have been pretty but it was a W

8. South Carolina- Spurrier wins 7/8 games again

9. Tennessee- All defense no offense type of team this year. Will stay in games but not win many because of this.

10. Arkansas- Maybe a little low, Mallet is a legit All-SEC QB but man they need to find a defense.

11. Mississippi State- is 6 wins possible?

12. Vandy- Offense is 2 years away from being good.

South Carolina/Tennessee/Arkansas and all rotate between their positions. None is really set in stone.

Now, if we would just learn to defend the forward pass. Seriously, as much as BP likes to throw it around you would think our defense would be used to defending it from practices. guess not.

It looks like Tennessee will continue that pattern into 2010 as well.
