Auburn is probably worst SEC West division leader since Arkansas in 2007.

Well, that much is obvious.

I love it. Like, for real, well done with this. I'm just glad you're nervous enough about Nov. 22nd to already be trying to throw jabs.

1. AU- everyone returns
2. LSU- Jennings looks good, defense older
3. ALA- loses AJ and a lot of defense
4. Miss.- young talent, just mediocre
5. MSU- returns everyone from average 2013 team
6. TAMU- No Johnny, no defense
7. Arky- returns players from winless 2013 team, Bert

I can live with that. Your defense will/should be spectacular. Losing AJ and CJ will seriously slow us down for a few games, regardless of what the kool aid drinkers say.

I agree with the OP. Vandy will not place well in the WEST.

Auburn is not a good football team. They can expect a letdown similar to UF's next year, loss to Samford and all. Hell, they're probably gonna get exposed against a downright mediocre Mizzoul team

Auburn is good and will return most everyone. But it's not always that simple. They've had a certain magic this year that will be impossible to replicate - they can't consistently win games they should lose like against Georgia and Alabama.

First year coaches and players also have an advantage in the SEC that often gets nullified in the second year. Look at Sumlin and Manziel from year one to two. There will be more of a target on Auburn's back next year - they'll go from the hunter to the hunted, the overlooked (after Alabama and LSU) to the team everyone will be preparing for in the offseason.

In short, there's more to being successful than returning a lot of players. There have been a lot of teams in recent memory that have returned nearly their entire roster and either regressed or totally dropped off the map.

It's arguable whether they "should" have lost to Bama. At the very least, they played them toe to toe and gave themselves a shot to win, and it paid off.

UGA? Yeah, they should have lost that game. But every season there's usually a couple games that can go either way and turn on a few breaks.
