It's in my previous post - seems like the OP has incorporated in alot of personal bias.

Ok, so that list is partially weighed by international faculty, and international students.

No thanks. Most of these "ranking lists" are always bullshite.

I'd say you are no better prepared for your career at Arkansas, Tennessee, or LSU that you are at Texas A&M, Georgia, or Florida. Vanderbilt is an exception b/c it's private. But, state schools prepare you at about the same level as other state schools.

It just depends on what you're getting your degree in.

But, UVa slipped to #123 on that list. UVa is widely known as one of the best public universities in this country. So what if they've got a few less international students or faculty members. I'd rather understand what in the actual frick my econ teacher is saying.

You mean just state schools in the SEC? I disagree. Couple of engineering firms that consider undergrad institution and recruit heavily at Auburn, UF, and A&M and would disagree with you as well.

A&M should be higher if you're ranking Academics that heavily. They are top 5 in the SEC in academics, and also field a solid football team.

Looks to me that if you average them both, UF and UG would be tied for #1.
