I know it is a rare occurrence for a team to beat Bama over the past 8 years but other than Bama losing was the 2010 Bama vs USCe really a good/exciting game?

I was at this game and every OT was played on the scoreboard side of the field which is where I was. It was a night game to begin with and I think we got out of there at like midnight.

nifty factoid.

Do you know if anyone else has done it since? I know we've won two in a row but don't play there again for a while.

To me one of the best LSU games was the OT victory over highly-ranked Tennessee in 2002. LSU was coming off of the home loss to UAB, 13-10. Rohan Davey was making his first start of the season. Already wearing a knee brace for tendinitis, he hurt his ankle early in the game, but he hobbled through it throwing 4 TDs. LSU was up big at the half, but UT scored 25 second half points to tie the score at 31. Then Rohan Davey hit Robert Royal on the first play of OT to give LSU the lead. They then stuffed UT near the goal line for the win. I think it was also the first OT game in Tiger Stadium.

Blah.

2015 Arkansas @ Ole Miss and State @ Arkansas were really good games. Our D was hot garbage in both of those and our receiving corps just starting to gel.

Yep. Of all the dammed losses I've had to endure from y'all that was easily the worst.

We had never beaten a #1 team
Never won on CBS
Never won when Gameday came to town? (Not sure on this one)

It was an awesome game. For us. That's why I said "for South Carolina"

Damned, I didn't realize that. Gameday is one thing, it isn't like that has been around a long time but to have never won on CBS and never beaten a number 1 team that is kind of crazy.

Your alcoholic bum QB went ape shite that day. He played outstanding and ridiculously bad all in the same game. It was a fun game to watch as an outsider.

For South Carolina I think it would be (including losses):

2010 Bama
2009 UGA
2007 Tennessee
2013 Mizzou
2010 Florida

You wouldn't include the 2014 UGA-South Carolina game? That was a pretty big upset.

The Florida @ Auburn night game in 06 is another great one. Jordan-Hare might not be as big as other stadiums but that's the loudest I've ever heard one on tv get when they blocked our punt and ran it back for a td.

Forgot about that one. Ended in a controversial first down call too. Dylan Thompson later proposed to his girl at the same spot he picked up the first down

Any list has to include 2007 LSU-Florida and 2013 Auburn-Bama.

The rest you could debate for hours. LSU-Alabama have had 3 classics between them that could be included, LSU-Arky had a string of several games coming down to the wire, the 7 OT games and 3 OT games deserve mention as well.
