I would probably switch Dabo and Harbaugh as of now. Dabo has been to 2 straight national title games, and last year beat both #2 and #1 for the title

Most of the time he makes great decisions. Fun team to watch.

No, I don't think Richt was responsible. I think he'd have won 10, maybe 11 games last year. He averaged 10 per year, including 10 over his last 5 seasons. I just don't see the massive talent drop off that the Kirby fans claim. I see bad coaching.

So what was the NFL draft? Was it just totally random that only 1 UGA player got drafted?

Before you say coaching, know that those guys spent a lot more time getting coached by Mark Richt than Kirby Smart.

6) UGA

We have a lot of talented players on our team. More than most teams we play. We just didn't have as many as we had 5 years ago, especially upperclassmen.

UGA started 3 OL under 300 lbs. 2 under 280 IIRC. UGA had one player drafted. When has that ever happened?

cuz what I didn't post was that out of the over 40 4*+ guys that you have, only 4 of them were seniors. Can't let the truth get in the way of a good story.

No, but I will admit that you have a poor grasp of deductive reasoning. There are only a few factors that determine the outcome of a game; team talent, experience, coaching, luck. Luck was a non-factor. Experience was a wash; Nicholls even used a true freshman qb just like UGA.

That leaves two other main factors to account for two teams playing an entire game almost dead even. Either the talent and coaching was about even, or one or the other was deficient. UGA fans chose to blame talent, and still do.

Find me a single UGA fan that says he coached that game well.

Just one.

Exactly. If we suck again this year, we may have a problem.

You let your love for Richt cloud your judgement. You create the narrative that helps you defend your argument. So much so that you actually believe UGA fans said they have the talent level of FCS schools. This has nothing to do with Richt vs Smart. You are just so caught up in proving yourself right that you can't help but make hyperbolic statements.

Pittman should improve that. What are the general feelings toward him atm? I know that many UGA fans have already stated their dislike for Chaney.

People still love Pittman. His first OL class is the highest rated UGA has ever had, at least since internet rankings started.

2 of them will probably start.

Not surprising, he does work

I hope the Pittman/Chaney package gets split up. One is always holding the other back

It's weird to me how Georgia almost never has an elite OL. Seems like that's always a weakness for y'all and outside of a couple years average to below average.

Probably Richt's biggest weakness over his tenure, for whatever reason. UGA just didn't get the caliber of player that we got at basically every other position.

Richt and Bobo were pretty good at masking it, actually. Bobo left, and the wheels fell off.

Just a reminder that Georgia fired the #14 coach in the country to hire the #65 coach in the country(who is worse than Derek Mason). Continue
