That's probably about right for Barker. He has the offensive talent around him to do well enough and Gran will be a better playcaller than Dawson, it's just a matter of whether he can keep his off-the-field shite together.

At the very least, he can take a hit.

Hey give them some credit, they had the knowledge to throw Mike White in there at 83. Could have thrown the whole list off if they missed that.

If Harris is a top 40 QB LSU has a good chance to be in the playoffs.

I don't think you can say the same about Trevor Knight. That offense needs him to play a lot better than that.

lsu has an outside shot at the playoffs even if harris makes no improvements, simply because of how the schedule sets up and the other talent around him on offense and defense.

i suspect we'll see improvement, though. if harris is a top 40 quarterback in the nation, or a top 3-4 quarterback in the SEC, lsu is probably the favorite to win the SEC.

but we've learned you can't count on that. you have to actually see it. alabama is the rightful favorite, with lsu right on their heels.

That would be a big jump from last year, he finished 63rd.

63rd

Harris hasn't shown up in an adult SEC football game yet.

LSU'ers are only hoping he's improved enough in consistency and accuracy in the short-medium range passing game to win the West and beyond.

No preponderance of evidence as of yet; only wait and see.....................
