It's really difficult to tell. There's Bama at the top. The next 7 or so (LSU, UGA, Missouri, Auburn, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Texas A&M) are all close to even

Hard to say. LSU handled Auburn pretty well but lost to Ole Miss. South Carolina beat Missouri but lost to Tennessee (wtf South Carolina?).

Georgia has been inconsistent but you can almost understand that a little more due to the injuries.

How the teams are playing now, I'd go with:

1. Alabama

gap

2. Missouri/Auburn

4. LSU/Georgia

6. South Carolina (I just can't get over them losing to Tennessee)

EDIT: Forgot about A&M because I was just looking at the teams in the OP. Stick them in there on the LSU/Georgia line I guess.

1. Alabama (Not to stroke their already enormous egos, but Bama significantly outclasses everyone else on the field in the SEC this season)

T2. Missouri, USCe, Auburn (I don't really see how to flush these teams out, inb4 shanked FGs)

5. A&M (I love you, but your team is redefining what 'no defense' means)

6. LSU

7. Georgia (should be much higher, but about as healthy as Honey Boo Boo)

8. Ole Miss

---End of quality teams---

9. Vanderbilt

10. Florida (in free-fall mode)

11. Mississippi State

12. Tennessee

T14. Arkansas, Kentucky (these teams would get their asses kicked in the Sun Belt)

I'd probably switch A&M and LSU, otherwise that's about perfect

Troll Ole Miss thread.

Ole Miss will finish with at least the same record against LSU, beat them head-to-head, and will land in a better bowl game than LSU.

Needless to say, bowl committees want a program that its fans are excited to see them play. LSU couldn't even sell out their allotment to the Chick-Fil-A Bowl last year and lost money overall. Ole Miss brought over 45-50k to Birmingham for a crap bowl, broke the attendance record, and took over the city. We also hold the record for the largest attendance for the Cotton Bowl, something to keep in mind.

This board is obsessed with ranking things. Besides the obvious #1, i wouldn't even know where to begin ranking the others.

And how does the victory over LSU make us look? I mean, you guys have them ranked #3 in the SEC...

It's a very good win.

Losses to Clemson and Vandy are bad losses though.

frick you, Gene.

You should go make a request on the Ole Miss board asking for help.

Your team was 0-fer the world last year. Auburn has improved you have not.

I don't think Ole Miss are as good as the other teams you listed, but they are close.

We lost by 3 and 8 and won by 3. Not a huge difference. #moralvictory

I see three tiers. In tier 2, anybody can beat anybody else.

Bama

(big gap)

Mizzou

How do you decide among Auburn, A&M, LSU, and Ole Miss, especially if A&M beats LSU?

Georgia & Carolina (we'll see about Georgia Saturday)

Right this minute? I think we're about 6 or 7. When we were full strength the first 3 weeks of the season? No worse than 3, probably closer to #2.

Yep. It's a shame y'all didn't recruit proper SEC depth, alright...
