Just go by the directors cup standings....usually Florida first followed by UGA, Tennessee or LSU and then everyone else every single year for overall athletics program.

What makes Ole Miss 5 but State 9. I'm actually surprised you didn't put us at 14 but our two schools are much closer to the other than that and we aren't the 5th ranked.

After thinking it over, I would move Florida higher. I forgot about how good they are at basketball.

I like your list Randy. You gave your honest opinion. Most Ranters know LSU is #1 they just don't have the balls to admit it publicly like you do.

You were 7-6 in 2012. You have won 4 SEC games in the past 3 years. I would hold off on the "up and coming" until you see another year or so. Remember when you had that 9 win season and what happened shortly after that....Just saying

I don't really. Just that their football team is good and their basketball team is less than great.

Florida at number four? LOL

Come on man. I'm an LSU fan and don't think we are number one

You are right but remember Alabama went 7-6 in Sabans first year, we all know what happened since.

True, but we are talking about Nick Saban. Not Hugh Freeze. There is a bit of a difference there. I'm not saying that Freeze won't be successful, but you can't really compare the two...

I am not saying that Freeze is the next Saban. But you have to admit that Freeze is a pretty good coach.

According to everybody on here.

1.Florida
2-14 The rest

I will admit that when I see some more out of him. I don't think he has had enough experience to even be called a good coach yet. He had a decent season, but wait and see before you say your program is up and coming is all I am saying.

And you didn't say that exactly, but your statement implied a comparison of the two.
