He said to rank the RB Corps... this includes only RBs, not OL or QB. UGA may have the most talented RBs collectively in the whole country. The freshmen are the real deal.

A&M's running backs are way underrated. No Manziel, new QB, new OC, means they will get more chances this season. Tra Carson is a bruiser at 6'0 230, but he is probably the most complete back.He is the total package. Trey Williams is amazing in space his cutting ability is unreal. Brandon Williams is a speedy home run threat. And redshirt freshman James White is a power downhill runner.

Josh Robinson, Ashton Shumpert, Nick Griffin, and Aeris Williams is a solid group for State. If this is a rushing offense thread than we are top 5 with Dak.

Why? Because of the fact that they were never as high as 2 in any previous season with Gurshall, and a better OL PLUS a better QB at the helm (they were 4th in 2007 and 2012)? Opposing defenses will stack the box against them this season and make Hutson Mason beat them in 2014, behind that shaky OL.

You're not predicting how many yards they have. The point of the OP was to rank how talented they are.

Arkansas:

Jonathan Williams (Jr.)
Alex Collins (So.)
Korliss Marshall (So.)
Kody Walker (Jr.)

Denzell Evans (RS Freshman) has been putting up some pretty competitive numbers this spring as well.
That doesn't guarantee anything, of course.

The fact there is even a discussion is ridiculous.

1. UGA (Two 5 star juniors who have proven they are top tier in the country, two incoming 5 star freshmen including #1 rb out of FL and #1 rb out of GA, plus two other mediocre guys, Douglas has lots of game experience from the injuries last year, being a 4+ ypc back in the SEC and still be 4th or 5th string speaks to the depth of this corps)

2: Bama (Yeldon and Henry are great, but not as good as Gurley/Marshall.... loss of 10penny and AK hurt your depth)

The Rest.

Honorable Mentions- Mike Davis USC, Fournette LSU, Hilliard LSU, Collins Arky

Oh sorry:

1) Mike Davis: 1,183 yds (5.8 ypc), 11 TDs
2) Brandon Wilds: 221 yds (5.1 ypc), 3 TDs
3) Shon Carson: 256 yds (4.2 ypc), 1 TD
4) Pharoh Cooper (Wildcat): 202 yds (10.2 ypc), 1 TD
5) David Williams: Redshirt Freshman

Gurley finished the season with 6.0 ypc, playing hurt and fat most of the year. That's better than Mike Davis, healthy.

Marshall, 2nd string, played against 3 SEC teams before his ACL popped, vs LSU, Tenn, and USC, he had 5.8 ypc. He also caught a 48 yard TD pass against your team last year, that team that was a defensive powerhouse with Sutton and Clowney and all those freak athletes in your secondary... as our second string RB. That's better than Wilds.

Hate it for the kid, but he won't play anywhere close to a 5*.

In summation, here's how this thread should work.

Bama fans will put Bama 1, UGA 2.
UGA fans will but UGA 1, Bama 2.

Everyone else needs to go sit down in a corner and drool.

At the end of the day, UGA has the best RB athletes. LSU and Bama are right there behind them. That is just on the athletes, not the system.

Only one of our RBs is coming off knee surgery, and that seems to matter less and less with each passing year.
