1. Ole Miss
2. LSU
3. Aubie
4. Bama
5. Ark
6. MSU
1. UF
2. UGA
3. Tenn
4. USC
5. Vandy
6. UK
Florida wins the title again.
FWIW the west looks like one of those years were there will be three cochamps and the one who loses to the teams in the east gets to go play in the championship game to me.

I like it that people seem to view AU as battling Miss State for the title of worst team next year.
Yes, please look past us, don't even worry about playing AU.

I'm going to wait and see who comes out before I start taking wild guesses. Guys like Ciron Black or Tebow coming out would change things greatly.

LSU will be more mature
I disagree with this just due to the number of players lost to NFL and graduation. LSU is losing as many guys on the o-line and most of the d-line.
I do think that JJ will do a good job though but it's just a hunch since he played so little.

This whole post seems somewhat unnecessary. Only four teams have much of a chance to win the SEC next year. Florida is going to win the East, no question about it. Alabama, LSU, and Ole Miss will compete for the West. Ole Miss gets both of those teams at home, Alabama gets LSU at home, and LSU has to play both on the road. LSU is also at a disadvantage having Florida on the schedule, even in Tiger Stadium.
Great post.

I don't understand how everyone is saying we will win the SEC next year when all this team did was show up for one game and beat a one dementional GT team
Simple, because every season is a different season. A lot of the same players, but new team chemistry, and new coaching staff. Don't act like its impossible. 2002 ring a bell for you? What happened the year after that? Just sayin.

I don't understand how everyone can have so much confidence in Ole Miss when they finally have 1 good season.. Yeah they have a legit QB but it's still Ole Miss.. and we are still LSU. We are a serious football program and look for us to continue our dominance in the SEC west again next season. How do you not see that the SEC in general is down.. ***as well as ALL of college football..*** We are extremely talented.

You didn't dominate it this year. No continuance.

Right, that's why as a whole, the SEC dominated the bowls. And thats why off coming off the previous year with two, 2 loss teams playing for the NC. There was so many 1 loss teams this year.

Finally. You got something right.

16 returning starters from a team that lost 4 games by a total of 19 points. Hell LSU lost to Ole Miss by 18. We should have 30 seniors on our roster next year, with 13 of them starting. That is why people think Ole Miss is going to be good next year.

Usually, I don't agree with ole miss posters but if there is one poster that is money its inelishaitrust. The ole miss team reminds me quite a bit of the arkansas 2006 team.

I am gonna go out on a limb,
LSU beats Bama
Ole Miss beats LSU
Bama beat Ole Miss
and that can happen in no particular order... I do however think Bama can come out winning the West. Doesnt matter who they lost but who they play.
They have VT at home but the rest of their schedule shapes up for them to finish season with 1 or 2 losses.
Honestly I really only see LSU/Ole Miss being a challenge to them in SEC and AU will give them a better game this year than last being it a rivalry. Tennessee I would like to see before debating about how well they will play.

yes it is very simple. This is an LSU site and the kool aid is flowing freely. LSU has as much talent as Bama or Ole Miss next year but there is nothing that puts them above either. The west will be very interesting next year. As for Auburn, I agree, nobody should look over them but they will not go more than 4-4 in conference with their QB situation. It can only get better though. Worst case scenario, Kodi Burns starts again and surely he'll be better than last year. For Bama's QB situation, I'd have to say the same thing, JPW was not a QB that won games for Bama, he just didn't make mistakes that cost us the game. And LSU's QB situation, JJ will be better than what you had this year, but he will still have growing pains.

I see absolutely no reason that anyone would believe that Aubie will end up better than the Hogs next year. I'm sure they'll be pretty good on the D, but it will take Malzahn a yr or so to get his system up and running.
We will be much better next yr. MUCH better. I hope that the SEC coaches continue to take us as lightly as the Rant does.

I don't see how you could assume that - by beating a one-dimensional GT team that played right into LSU's hands and had no passing game?

I'll put it to you like this colston, LSU has just as good a chance as anyone else. If you don't believe that, you need help.

Every year a team from Miss. wins some games and all you hear for the next 8 months is watch out they have turned it around and will be a force. Then the next year comes and they turn into a typical Miss. team. It will be interesting to see if Ole Miss has actually turned things around.
