I should have said percentage wise. Bama has a larger fan base but a larger % of AU's lives outside of the state of Alabama IMO

No it really isn't bullshite, but what they always fail to mention is there are just as many living graduates of UA. For some reason it is a source of pride for them to only have graduates cheer for their schools athletic programs.

But you cant for most of the lower six schools because you have to have real love and dedication for those schools to keep coming back for years of pain and turture just to enjoy one great season every decade.

Not even close to as many kids from Texas as we have, I think half of campus is from DFW.
That has nothing to do with our fanbase though, which is hick and hillbilly beyond anyone's wildest imagination. The only rednecks we have are over by the big river named after all those crooked letters and hump backs.
Seriously though, how fricked up is the SEC that we can differentiate between rednecks, hillbillies, hicks, and coonasses. I swear when I go to Little Rock games I see people that probably spend 20% of their yearly incoming (probably amounting to only $500 or so) on Hog related stuff, I guess that is what makes us what we are though. We have the same people in NWA, but they are watered down with students, wine and cheesers, and middle class hillbillies.
