Rank the LSU-Alabama match ups post 2007. Rank them in terms of entertainment and being good games. So, the National Championship was shite.
1. 2012: Alabama -21 LSU - 17. Heartbreaker for sure. But, highly entertaining and...you know...the teams scored touchdowns.
2. 2011: LSU - 9 Alabama -6
3. 2007: LSU - 41 Alabama - 34. The highest scoring one of the bunch. National Champion LSU needed a 4th down conversion to Early Doucet to win the game.
4. 2008: Alabama - 27 LSU - 21. LSU blocks the chip shop field goal to send it into OT. Lee's endzone pick and Wilson's pass to Julio all but secured the game for Bama.
5. 2014: Alabama - 20 LSU - 13. Another OT thrilled. LSU can't capitalize with a miracle gift/turnover. Alabama almost lost to Anthony Jennings , but is able to secure it in OT.
6. 2010: LSU - 24 Alabama - 21. LSU's 4th down reverse and Jordan Jefferson's 75 yard strike to Rueban Randle made this a great one.
7. 2009: Alabama - 24 LSU - 15. LSU struck first in this one (TD to Deangelo Peterson). Most will never forget the no call of Patrick Peterson's interception. Intense game though.
8. 2013: Alabama - 38 LSU - 17. Great game for a half or so. Alabama's defensive line stifles LSU's offensive line. This game was the most telling that the "tide was turning".
9. National Championship: Alabama -21 LSU-0. Good performance by the LSU defense just to hold Alabama to 1 late TD and a bunch of field goals. The Alabama defense was LSU's pimp that night. LSU's offense didn't have enough money and the pimp was upset.
10. 2015: Alabama - 30 LSU - 16. Alabama crushed our defense. The score wasn't reflective as Henry dashed for more than 200 yards. In terms of our offense (or lack thereof), see above to #9.

I'm a Bama fan and I still think 9-6 is the best. That was good football. You were on the edge of your seat for the whole game.

Cant argue with your list. Always a fun and entertaining game that leads me to drinking too much whiskey and having to rewatch it the next day.

2012 was one defensive stop away from being the GOAT Tiger Stadium game. That was the best 59 minutes of football I've ever seen.

This was a weird game. The LSU defense was horrible against a bad Bama team with a bad offense. I seem to recall Bama QB just chucking the ball up to WRs that weren't even open and making plays, repeatedly.

JPW to DJ Hall. It was our whole offense.

2007- we should have NEVER been in that game and honestly should have won it. That game showed me what Saban could do. That was a great game when I went expecting to be blown out.

The McCarron pass to Yeldon was the happiest I've ever been during a football game. I'll never forget Kevin Norwood being unbelievably clutch on that drive.

The Arenas punt return for a touchdown in the 4th quarter is probably a top 10 decibel level in BDS history

Matt Caddell caught the ball. Bama screwed by the replay booth again.

I'll never forget that night. My wife went into labor during the first half. she let me watch overtime before going to the hospital. I realized I was a terrible husband married to a good woman. Got a doppelgänger just past midnight.

Agreed.
At the end of regulation I lost my voice, I couldn't move, it took me an hour just to make my way back to the car from exhaustion (12 hours of drinking and screaming).

I don't count the Natty in these matchups since it didn't happen in the regular season, and since LSU hasn't been given a second game against Bama in a year that they lost to Bama.
