If you are restricting Actors to only be male, then from Georgia you have Laurence Fishburne. As director, you have Spike Lee. (dont like his politics, but he is a good director).

For actress from Georgia you have Julia Roberts.

Spike Lee was born in Atlanta. Whatever. Still SEC territory, which I think was the OP intention?

Just saying. His dad is a jazz guy from somewhere like Camden or some shite. Wilcox County maybe.
