James Franklin dark horse top 3, but I'm biased and probably much more familiar with him than the majority of ranters are...

Do you really think a QB behind a veteran OL and possibly 3 five star RBs to lean on in Kevin Sumlin's system will be dead last in the SEC?

Zach Mettenberger has never taken a meaningful snap and until I actually see a competent QB at LSU I don't think he should be 5th.
He could turn out to be #1 and you know it!

1. Wilson - Though Petrino has a knack for making QB's appear more talented than they really are.
2. Murray - Solid QB, Bray will pass him after this next season
3. Bray - Would be higher if it wasn't for his injury this past season. He'll put up major numbers next year.
4. McCarron - I guess. Though you could probably take 8 or 9 of the starting SEC QBs put them on Bama's roster, and still win that national championship game.
5. Franklin - admittedly never seen him play.

How about one that has actually seen the field in an SEC game?
Exactly.
Exactly.

I've seen a team with 3 NFL RBs and a veteran O-line struggle offensively so yea, its definitely possible.

Wilson is the only QB in the SEC that I would take over McCarron.
Murray and Bray are pretty much the same player with different skill sets. Just don't seem to be winners. Missing the clutch gene.

Dear lord I hope CKS isn't the next Houston Dale Nutt
I do hope our RBs would be compared in any way shape or form to McFadden, Jones, Hollis at any point next year. Bad arse

Murray is Ghey and All Bark No Bite knows it. Mett is Better than Aaron. Bank that.

14. Aggies new QB?
Manziel is easily better than 9-13. Remains to be seen if he's better than the others. Also Mettenberger is an unknown until he takes his first snap in an SEC game, so I'd put both Shaw and Franklin above him.

1a Wilson
1b Murray
2 McCarron
3 Bray
4 Shaw
I admit I haven't seen Franklin, but I can't help but think there's gonna be some trouble adjusting to SEC defense. I think Murray is better than some are giving him credit for; though most of what I've seen was him throwing to AJ Green.
Also, yeah, Newton being anywhere other than last is pretty laughable.

Franklin is hard to bring down. Think of him as Jordan Jefferson, but knows how to make reads and decent throws.

1. Wilson
2a.Murray
2b.McCarron
3.Bray
4.Show
Tyler Wilson should be a cut above the other qb's in the group. As for the recieving corp, IMO I don't see a drop in performance. The frontline should be better this year.

That is like the Gator fans that taught there would be no drop off from Tebow to Brantley.
Arky had one of the best groups of WRs in recent memory and now 3 of the 4 are gone. How can there not be a drop off?

There will be some drop off. There was some drop off this year because Childs wasn't himself. Hamilton is proven, but the rest are all potential right now.
Wilson still will be the best QB unless McCarron improves alot. Bray is way to immature and Murray just plays for UGA so he'll never reach his potential.

Not from a talent perspective but from an experience one...
Gardner and DGB will play alongside Hamilton

Not every 5* WR produces on the field as a true freshman. If that was the case UF would have had the greatest Offense ever last year.

DGB is not a normal 5*....would you agree?

To be perfectly honest I have no idea since he has been off UF's radar. I have been too busy stalking Diggs and Agholor. #2 Nelson behind Mandela per google, big shoes to fill.

Arky getting Davis back will be huge and balance out the drop at WR.
