Your argument is going to fall of deaf ears, man. AU is a very good program, but they don't have the consistency to stay in that upper tier that AUzack wants them in. They've not rubbed back-to-back 10 win seasons together since 1988 & 1989. Until they show consistency, they'll always be in that very good, but not elite tier.

Agree. Any given season AU could be tier 1 and up in the top 5 or 6 teams in the country. But in classic AU fashion, could follow that up the next year by going 7-5.

When talking about a 10-year tier projection, there really isn't any way to justify AU being in the same tier as alabama. It shoudl be more like:

tier 1- bama
tier 2- like 6 or 7 teams
tier 3- 3 or 4 other teams
tier 4- vandy, kentucky

Today has been a complete shitshow of trolling. It will die down before the heart of the offseason, for sure.

Dude, Auburn has, I don't know, 19 9+ win seasons since 1981 or something like that

LSU has finished with 9 or more wins more in my adult life than they've finished with less than 9 wins

And next year will mark the first time it has happened in consecutive seasons since y'all fell arse backwards in to Saban. The decline can't be more official than that. I mean I highly doubt any swamp kittens think y'all win 8 games next year, but will any of y'all agree that if y'all only win 8 games then the decline is real?

Serious question... You think this thread has anything to do with Mississippi?

Wow, the level of hate for Ole Miss from Aggy has grown

No hate.

Aggy gonna go on a run. When Sumlin leaves he'll be replaced by Chad Morris.

Arky and Bert gonna eat up teams for years.

Bama and Barn will stay up for a long time as they try to spend each other to death.

LSU is going to go through a Miles decline but come back strong.

That leaves State and Ole Miss. State will be able to hang onto Merlin and have system continuity longer than Ole Miss can do with Freeze.
