I was suspicious when you asked that we may have tipped a can or two on the Parade Ground prior to an LSU game or two... I was the Dad in the "Phi Mu Loves the Tigers" button. Haha!

doubtful I was a KA pledge class '08. Met lots of Phi Mu's class 07, 08, 09, dont think I ever hung out with any of the '10 pledge class

Met several of your bro's at tailgate. Phi Mu's were quite populous at the KA party for her first few years then the planets realigned and I think they moved enmasse to the Sigma Nu locale last year...

Don't want to go back and find it but someone was saying Alabama's greeks are tryhards and Ole Miss has the best greek life.

One thing that made me choose Alabama was how much more I liked the guys there because they were not nearly as much of try hards as Ole Miss. They take the cake for trying the hardest in the SEC

Also, Ole Miss fraternities have close to 100 guys in each pledge class. They hardly know everyone in their pledge class and surely don't know everyone in the fraternity. Pretty lame excuse for a fraternity if you ask me.

You can maybe make a case for some of the new row fraternities at bama being tryhards, but overall the greek system at alabama blows Ole Miss out of the water, in my opinion.

LSU's sorority houses are top of the line, but our fraternity houses are meh. Hopefully, we'll see something similar to what is going on in t-town and there will be some renovations in the near future.

Auburn isnt getting mentioned much, but some of their fraternity houses are unreal.

Overall, Ole Miss, UGA, Bama, Auburn, LSU, USC, Miss St and Tenn have awesome greek systems.

KA has plans (I have seen them) to eventually enlarge the house to the size that it was before it burned, just waiting on LSU to let them expand into the empty lot

From what I've heard, kappa sig also has plans but the alumni don't want it touched. Pretty sure Georgeraymond on here is a sig. He would know better than I would

We have the plans, looks very similar to our current house just larger and will include a wing over the basketball court. iirc we have a fundraising company out of Houston raising the money. However, I'm not sure where we stand today

True - but when you're trying to raise that much money, $10,000 donations are equivalent to about $60-70 bucks. You need a lot of them to get you far. We had to have someone do all the research, calling, begging, etc.

The upstairs of your house was fricking trashed the night after the A&M game. Looked like a tornado had come through, twice.

Then some buddies and I wound up over at Acacia, and it made look KE look absolutely pristine.

Acacia better be very, very careful. LSU is just waiting to pounce on them, for whatever reason. They've long coveted Acacia's spot on W. Lakeshore for a possible marina.
