The original Canes is 30yds from LSU campus, and Les Miles is all over their local promotions. Canes will try to do similar stuff at Arky.

So you think that was the first Canes outside of Lousisiana and near a college campus? Pretty sure A&M has one right off campus too with aggie shite decorating the walls. Actually not pretty sure, I'm 100% certain because I busted up in the middle of that place on game day wearing an LSU shirt and hat getting all sorts of funny looks. They weren't playing LSU that day, I just happened to have to go there that weekend.

The old school version of the one near The Varsity was so fricking good and now its really not very good for the reasons you stated.
They also gave you an additional finger in The Box Combo back then. The Box was a big meal back in the day.
