Why would he step down from the NCAA?

I think he would be a good choice. Moving from the B12 to the SEC is an obvious choice to most. But I'm sure actually making the move was a complicated, huge deal to A&M and the other Texas schools.

I'm sure if he didn't really give a shite about A&M, it would've been alot easier to just leave things the way they were.

His no.1 priority was A&M and what was best for them and I think that shows alot about the dude right there.
