You're an idiot if you think that comment had anything to do with Arkansas's desire to beat LSU. Arkansas was highly motivated to beat LSU BECAUSE THEY ARE LSU!!!
But props for beating us in 2007 after we exhausted ourselves by playing six top-20 teams... and again in 2008 after we lost to Alabama and had nothing to play for.

This isn't an inflated sense of grandiose. Why don't you ask any Florida fan which game they have circled on their calendar? Other teams are more motivated to play the top teams. I looking down the schedule, I could give a shite less for any game outside of Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Ole Miss..

I have a two part answer to this question:
1.) Ask me after the season
2.) IF Miles left on his own, I would be somewhat sad but would probably get over it quickly.
He's an incredible recruiter, seems to genuinely care about the welfare of his players (see Phelon Jones and Slidell Corley), and I like the fact he's willing to gamble.
I would probably prefer more of an X's and O's guy, but it's not a necessity. My biggest complaint with Miles up to this point is the playing down to competition and the notoriously slow starts we've had in his tenure.

Nah, you knew what you were getting with Saban.. lots of defense, running the ball up the middle, lots of Aights, maybe a sansabelt outfit or two
with Les Miles the game is never fricking boring, half the time i want to kill him and have the time i want to hug him, i always expect him to do something crazy like punt on first down or do a hook and ladder play in the second quarter or even have someone drop kick a field goal just for the hell of it
you can say what you want about him, but he is solid fricking gold as far as entertainment value, in just 2007 alone i think i spent $500 on rolaids and TUMS.
dude, i'm fricking dying laughing

Knowing what you know RIGHT NOW about Miles -do you keep him or trade him?
Trade him for who? Bill Bellicheck? Sure. Phil Fulmer? No chance in hell.

Butch Davis has pretty much flat out said he wants no part of the SEC. He could have been our coach in 2000 and i'm sure had other SEC opportunities along the way

No, Les is fine, you can keep the sellout in bama

quote:Locker is by far a better QB - in conjunction with this it is safe to say he is far better than the total talent at the QB in LSU or Bama's arsenal. I honestly believe he could run UF system better - that guy is the real deal, he could be one of the best we have seen in over a century.
Serious question is Locker more athletic than Jefferson? I think he is a better qb but what about athlete?
