what up with rs-fr jerry mitchell does he get playin time in front of Leon if he doesnt learn the playbook and schemes or does he sit back and watch as he continue to adapt to the safety position

Hearing Mitchell is doing good things...He'll get some playing time, but I doubt he sees a ton of time at the Safety postition...ST's for sure

I think Mitchell is listed as the backup to Leon right now. I think that's pretty good for a RS freshman. He'll definitely get time on special teams. He'll probably get a decent number of reps on defense too...they seem to rotate bodies pretty regularly if for no other reason than to motivate the 1st stringers.
