i hate the post 2009 fan base
i remember getting shite talked when i was little for being a saints fan, at a school less than two hours from new orleans. now everyone with a pulse is chiming in about the team on facebook, twitter, whatever. kind of cheapens things.

Being a Saints fan is like being hungover for 40 years, then waking up one day without one for the biggest party of your lifetime, and then waking up the next day with another 40 year hangover.

Yes, but only because we didn't win it all both years...that's my point. The whole "I hate them because they are our rival" is a stage that I've grown up out of because all of this is just a damn game. I hate and love Ole Miss for reasons much like how I hate/love other SEC schools. I don't mind y'alls success. It just gets to me that much more that we aren't there ourselves.

Actually it wasn't irrelevant. What was irrelevant was you trying to talk about how y'all beat the "same UVA team" last year. I was showing that such an argument was stupid because if we're really going to compare opponents, the ULL series we each played is FAR more relevant.

I stopped watching the Red Sox after 2004 for the same reason.

So, poop update: little backed up this AM, probably because of all the Chipotle I've been eating. Gonna go for a jog and hope that shakes things up a bit and gets the pipes moving.

Point being, ULaLa beat us, OM beat ULaLa, there for OM > ULaLa > State, we didn't learn anything new.
I was talking our team a year ago beating mostly the same UVA team at their place. Regardless, I know it's a different year but I do think this years field was much weaker than last.

So is your argument that y'all's team from last year was better than our team this year? I can spin it too. Last year we weren't nearly as good as we were this year. We took 2/3 from y'all last year.
