Two schools do this in the sec now
Miss state
Texas a&m
Player is hurt, fans cheer initially because of a defensive stop, then give a supportive cheer when the hurt player gets up and makes his way off the field. You shite heads interpret as us cheering that he is hurt.
The thing is state only does it when we have them beat.
You guys want to be a sore pussy even when you win.
I see what Texas fans meant when they warned us about y'alls antics and complexes.

Everyone in that stadium gave Manziel a slow clap when he came off the field
I hate to admit this of another Ag, but you are getting trolled.
Anyone who watched the game knows that y'all had just stopped a drive on a third and long. You were excited about it, as any crowd would be. You probably didn't even notice he was down for a few seconds.

Defense is hurt because they lower their heads to tackle. Bad form, and someone got REALLY hurt last night because of it

So manziel was faking? After all, he only sat out one defensive possession and he was back in the ballgame.

Back to the original question. Most of you must have turned the volume down while watching the game because the announcers were making every excuse in the world for the defense and every other sentence was about the "depleted" defense. I hardly heard anything about the great recruiting class and world beater freshmen or that future national championship. However, OM is still OM and the best choke team in the SEC. That is one fanbase that will always save money at the end of the season by not having to buy hotel rooms in Atlanta.

OK, I know that you are trolling, and I still cannot resist. Like a bug and a purple light.
No. Manziel did not lay down in a situation allowing a reasonable person to infer that he did so in order to slow the momentum of his opponent.
To the contrary, he had just thrown an incomplete on 3rd down. He (and the entire offense) were leaving the field anyway.
No incentive to fake.

I know that. I was just using your fellow Ag's example and turning it. It's crazy to believe that we were really cheering for his injury though. Most sane people never wish injury on anyone. Of course we have some stupid fans that laughed and cheered but every fan base has those as well. To call the entire Ole Miss fan base 'trash' is quite a broad generalization. I certainly wasn't cheering for him to be hurt.
How's he doing by the way? Did y'all get a report on what happened? When I watched the replay and saw him grab his knee, I was worried for him. I thought he could be seriously injured.
And I'm happy I got see him play live. I didn't attend the game last year and damn, he's good. He floats around like he's playing against high schoolers (before well, he was playing OM ) it was amazing and fun to watch.
Anyway, I hope y'all had a good time on Oxford

When he's walking off the field and his coach/teammates tell him to go down so they can stop the gameplay.
