Question for Bamers, if it came down to DeBoer and Prime, who would you rather?

Don’t say neither, you need to pick one.

Ok, Rantards, it's time you rounded up your spit-dribblers and herded them back to tRant.

Deboer. Alabama did not hire some chump like everyone thinks. Winning football games on a consistent basis is hard to do at any level. Winning football games is what Coach Deboer has done at every stop he has made in his career. It’s hard to argue with his career record that is something like 104-12 give or take a few games. That’s an impressive record for any coach. Most coaches from high school all the way to the NFL would take a record like that any day long for their careers.

Agreed. Why all of the whining on here? You got a good promising young coach that, if he can recruit in the south could continue a dynasty.

Well Saban may have retired but you are going to see him in the background a lot a believe. I think the AD at Bama kinda knew early that Deboer was gonna be the guy so I think it was agreed upon that Saban would kind of stay and hang around in the background and help Deboer build relationships with a lot of these high school coaches in the southeast. Saban decided to retire so fast and he caught everyone off guard that he agreed to help Deboer and his staff get started instead of riding off into the sunset with Mrs Terry. I know that’s kind of conspiracy theory type stuff but it’s pretty obvious. I don’t think recruiting will be a big problem. Keeping the current team from leaving is the biggest problem Deboer has right now.
