I disagree with the Kiffin hire but I know he knows much more about football than I do. I just think Kiffin is a cancer on a program!

Going for it on 4th and 1 from the Auburn 13 yard line with less than 7 minutes left in the game, when a FG puts Bama up by two scores, is undoubtedly the most idiotic move Saban has made with regards to actual coaching in his time at Alabama. I know Foster hadn't hit the side of a barn all day but if Saban thought Adam Griffith had a chance to make it from 57 yards out, did it not EVER occur to him the kid might just have a chance at nailing it from 30 yards?

After 2007, I'm inclined to agree with you.
Almost happened this year with Bama and Auburn but FSU decimated their ACC opposition and Florida rolled over.

No. Never disagreed with one decision Saban has made. It's part of the creed you sign as a Bama fan. Saban knows best at all times in every decision he has made.
A 57 yard field goal for a freshman is the best decision. Hiring Applewhite and Greg Brown were both good choices. Choosing an out of state kid over an in state kid when the talent level is nearly equal is always wise. On the same train of thought, signing four running backs in one class is another smart move. No way that could backfire. Choosing to have Blake Sims take mop up duty over a pro style option when there is almost no way that Blake Sims is our future starter is also a prudent choice.
Like I said I've never disagreed with Coach Saban.

There have been a few coaching decisions that I've disagreed with but it has usually been in hindsight. On the field goal attempt against Auburn, I was like "Yeah, what the hell. Might as well give it a shot." Afterwards, I was like "What the f*ck were you thinking Nick?!?!".
That's the beauty of being armchair QB. I'm never wrong.
The only decision that comes to mind that I straight up disagreed with was lifting DJ Hall's suspension in the second half against LAMO.
The word was that he caved in to pressure from certain team members. They supposedly said they weren't going to play the second half unless Hall did. I personally would have booted them off of the team.......if that's actually the way it went down.
