5 TDs this weekend is a hell of a game. I haven't watched much of Au this season and none of,the game this weekend. What type of runner is he? Scat back, power back , all purpose type?

He is having a good season, he has rushed over a 100 yds in all but the Lsu game.

Was this expected out of him? Don't remember him being hyped by Au fans pre season.

He's a bruiser. Not much speed but can break tackles and get to the next level.

A lot like CAP

Saw him in person yesterday, best comparison I can give you is Kenny Irons.

Not a burner or an overpowering guy, but gets the most out of his opportunities. Showed great balance on his last TD run. Seems to have a lot of heart, which is something this team sorely lacks.

He gives great effort.

I do not think he is Chubb/LF7/Henry/Drake level, but he is the main reason we are not 0-5.

He runs extremely hard. Can't really make 3 yard 12 yard, but he is clearly playing better than any other back we have and is the main reason we have a pulse albeit a weak one.

Yo Freep, what's up?

Thanks for the info. Was he highly rated out of HS? He's pretty young, right? Got to like the players like him, give 100% and make the most with their abilities. .

Hopefully he's a little smarter than the Irons brothers.

He was a 3* out of Georgia. I don't think he played at all his junior year of high school do to injury.

Yeah, he was committed to Ole Miss and flipped to AU once Malzahn was hired and offered.

Speaking of Ole Miss, Tre Mason was supposed to go there also. Sorry Ole miss.

He's playing well but would benefit greatly from Gus/Rhett not going full retard in our play calling. I think someone stole Gus' playbook much the same way coach Klein's playbook was stolen in The Waterboy.

Runs super hard. Gets the most out of his ability because he gives all out effort of every play.

Solid all around back. Others on the roster probably have more ability, but Barber produces and has a lot of want to in him.
