Question for Aggies

You rode a once in a lifetime player to a good non championship season, but results on the field in every other season even with him are mediocre at best.... and now that all shine from the SEC move has washed away in recruiting, with even a mediocre Texas program playing in a crappy conference is kicking your arse; not to say several conference teams. With all significant facilities improvements complete which would have already given this class a boost. I ask:

Is the false bravado finally gone, or are you stupid enough not to realize A&M is a perennially mediocre program?
