Well to be fair when "arky lock" was thrown around (tongue and cheek or not) as much as it was, there was bound to be some chest thumping from some of us.

I go to Kentucky's spring game every season. Not as many people usually show for the spring game as they do for the fall game though.

Ok...I'll take "some blame" but it became more of a joke after the summer

Edit: and yes, I think recruits enjoy it if a lot of fans show up.

LSU fans have never really gotten that into it. usually because it's the same day and time as a baseball game.

JMo I realize bama is deep south but here usually it is not just hot but the humidity is horrible. This April may not be as bad considering the cold winter and so far pleasant spring. It is easy to brave the heat and humidity in Sept for a real game but hard t tolerate that when it is a scrimage against yourself. FTR though I am glad Bama fans go in droves because i do think it helps with recruiting.

A couple of years ago, I think, the spring game and the Arkansas Derby was on the same weekend and somewhat affected the crowd. I believe that has now been changed so not to interfere with each other.
