After starting the first 8 games in 2014 with 2,640 yards and 23 TDs, why did he get benched? I can't remember what happened, did he get in trouble, hurt, or replaced? Hate bringing up old shite but just read an article with him in it being one of the top guys to have a comeback year.

I think the 59-0 loss to bama sealed the deal.

Out drinking close to game dates after he blew up on campus. Couldn't back it up with consistent play. Threw 3 ints vs Mississippi State. What navy said

He was getting progressively worse as the season wore on. The hype after a season-opening win against a top 10 USCe that ultimately proved to be barely a .500 team set expectations sky-high and Kenny went about disappointing everyone in a fashion so methodical that one has to admire the sheer fortitude it took to keep marching out on that field and giving the Aggie fans the metaphorical middle finger for having the gall to have faith in him.

I've never seen a player hyped that quick disappear just as quick. Here today, literally gone tomorrow. 5-6 games into the season he was being hyped as a Heisman contender, then came MSU and Bama and he was gone. Next thing you know he's transferring. I mean he was on top of the college football world one day gone the next. Weird.

Sumlin is a ****ing liar. Combine that with his complete lack of discipline, and it is a recipe for disaster. Sumlin has never finished better than 3rd in the division of his conference, and he never will. He will be fired after this year. He should have taken his ticket to the NFL when he had a chance. All he does is ruin QBs.

ESPN did him a disservice by completely over-publicizing him up after that opening game at South Carolina.

Despite the troll fest this thread has become, it really did have to do with the fact that he had (hopefully it's behind him) a drinking problem.
