I love how so many little bitches want to question our titles but have no standard of what is a legitimate claim. The mother of all hypocricy is TnM questioning our titles IN THE SAME POST where he claims 1983 for auburn. He's the Harvey Updyke of the plains.

while other schools do not do it?
The title claims of several schools....
Michigan claims 11 but only 2 are AP/UPI
Tennessee claims 6 but only 2 are AP/UPI
Pittsburgh claims 9 but only 2 are AP/UPI
Ohio State claims 1961, even though Bama won the AP/UPI titles. They won Poling.
Georgia also claims their 1942 Rose Bowl win even though they lost to Auburn and Ohio State won the AP.
USC, in 2004 decided to recognize its 1939 football team as a National Champion, even though TAMU won the AP that year. LINK
USC now recognizes its football teams of 1928, 1931, 1932, 1939 (No AP or UPI). Their 1962, 1967, 1972, 1974, 1978 and 2003 are legit AP/UPI/BCS NC's.

According to Wiki, Georgia actually claims 5 now.

Now why would we want to sell our mothers, when we can buy your's for next to nothing...and the blowjob is even cheaper.

What? You claim titles using polls that didn't exist until over a decade later.

It was the 1980s SID. I've read that he counted 11 at first. But he thought 12 sounded like a nicer, rounder number than 11, so he added 1941.

Damn, best answer on the board tonight. Tip my hat to you. Sounds just like those side walkers that never walked in UA. I am an LSU Fan till death, but I pulled for AUBURN in the iron bowl as much as I would my team against them. So happy for Auburn's accomplishment this year. I have many many Auburn friends (graduates) and they pull for us against them. I have loved the meltdown, they are calling into Finebaum & others drunk, reading poetry and anything but admitting they lost the game. Bad calls, trickery, Saban gave it away, kicker, AJ., same as when LSU beat them at home 9 -6. And then the infamous rematch.............I still mad at Miles on that loss, and hope we get the truth about that nite one day. WIN THE NC War Eagle

Old UPI was not a coaches poll - Google is your friend gumpster
Some of those titles were awarded prior to the bowls in which bammer lost but they still proclaim #1 when they lost to the "other" #1
Auburn could claim 1913, a few in the 20's through mid 50", 57, 58, 83. 93, 04, and 2010
