Howell was the reason the 90 team went to the FF in Denver.
That team IMO was the best team in school history. They were better than the Championship team.
They played a brutal schedule and beat people bad. The game vs Vegas at the Thomas and Mack was better than the rematch the next year.
That 90 team had a future SWC POY coming off the bench and Huery coming off the bench.
Two AA guards, a decent Center with Credit

Just imagine how great the 92 team would have been if Hardaway's parents would have not been greedy and taken the job in Ft Smith?

That's sick. Just looked at Truck's steal totals and was surprised it was < 2 per game. He was freaking glue on his man. He disrupted damn near anyone he faced.

Darrell Hawkins. Pretty good player. Crawford transferred here in 92/93 but only started 6.

No not the 92/93 team the 91/92 team I was talking about.
The 92/93 team was the Runts, the locals gave them that name because nobody expected anything from them and they were young. Richardson also called them that as he said they had to fight for everything and were loyal.

Only other guy I can think would rotate starts at a good clip would be Robert Shepherd.

I'm being dead serious. I've seen Arkansas basketball play in person twice in the past three years and a few times on tv. I couldn't tell you a damn thing about Portis but I always felt Qualls was THE guy to worry about for opposing teams.
