Bama will be in the same boat where have been in this year. No proven QB. We all now how poorly Saban handled the QB position at LSU. (i.e. Booty / Davey and Russell / Randall. Can't wait until next year.

Don't think so. Greg McElroy is from the same system Chase Daniel is from, and his one throw in the endzone looked pretty good yesterday.

I was on vacation this last week and ran into some Gumps. I ask them about the quarterback issue for next year. They seem to beleive that Bama can only get better and better each. They are not concerned about the quarterback issue.

They'll have a GREAT defense to help the young QB out.

Maybe,

but I guarantee you that Bama will be better than 7-5 overall and 3-5 in the SEC next year.

I'd say 9-3/10-2 would be a realistic expectation for them

the talk about McElroy sort of sounds like the talk we had when Russell was backing up Mauck. Everyone thought he would light it up the next year. Saban threw him out there in the Florida game and his inexperience showed. He got hurt, we where down big, and Randall saved us in that game. Point is, hard to win with a young QB no matter how talented.

difference is a great defense will keep you in game and more oftent han not give you a chance to win.

Wasn't our great defense supposed to help our young quarterbacks? Oh, that's right we don't have a great defense...

If you haven't noticed they barely throw the ball now. I bet they hardly average 170 yards a game. They're gonna be right back near the top.

Godd coaching also will help with the situation in not trying to do too much, not like the coaching crap we endured this year.

Bama losing Andre Smith and Antoine Caldwell will hurt far more than JPW. Their bread and butter is running the ball and these guys pave the way. They also lose another SR on the OL. Thats prolly the 3 best OL and the QB all gone, plus Stover at WR, and thier second best reciever is a SR TE Walker. Thats alot of offense.

So Bama is starting a new quarterback. Who you betting will win the West next season?
I predicted Bama this year and I predict they will repeat.
I think we have the talent but...

and look at how many freshman rb's Saban used. He'll just recruit a top notch one to carry the load next year.

as long as they rush and have good defense, they win 10 games minimum.

I agree. That defense is solid.

They will not have the 'same' problems as LSU. Saban will still have DBs that will cover and tackle, and LBs that will hit you, and DL that will maintain their assignment.

Our season would not be championship quality, but IF we had a defense at all we would be a 1-2 losses better.

Bama will play their place kicker at QB and they will win the NC. With Saban as coach, nothing can stop them.

Did anyone see Florida last night in the final series when they took out Tebow? If he leaves, they are truly screwed. When he is out they look like Duke or something.

our backup QB is even better than Tebow at running CUM's system.
