Look in the past.

They want nothing to do with the long horns.

Arky and LSU did.

But not aggy.

Absolutely. They're our main rival. It would be dumb to not play them now that they followed us into the SEC.

I didn’t want them in our conference.
Now that it looks like they’ll be here, I don’t care whether or not they’re one of our permanents.
I’ve little doubt the PTBs will schedule them as such tho.

I’d rather them not be in the SEC, but, since they are, I definitely want to play them each year.

Like someone said, they followed us here, so the least we can do is agree to let them be our rival.

Got no problem with it, but don't want to pander to them.

Keep the LSU game Thanksgiving weekend and make Texas the first conf game of the year for us.

UTA should be an easy win for any SEC team playing them. Who wouldn't want that?

If you are asking whether I think they should be one of our permanent opponents, yes.

Do I miss playing them? No, for a lot of reasons. But, I understand that it's a historic matchup that should be played.

No. There are much better SEC towns and fanbases I’d rather travel to

The 'sips are a cancer, and the rest of the SEC will learn that soon enough. Don't claim we did not try to warn you. Hell, you are starting to learn it already, given the special treatment that they are requesting before their first day.

But Birmingham, in its (limited) wisdom, invited them to join, and it is a done deal. With that being the case, my ideal three permanent opponents would be the 'sips, piggy and the swamp kittens.

Yes.

Would have preferred to have never played those bastages again.

But since the idiots that run this show were dumb enough to let those arse-clowns in the league, I want to beat their tea-sipping, spoiled, snot-nosed arses every year.

I agree with you.
If we have to play the horns it ought to be on Thanksgiving.
I’d love to open the season annually with LSU.

Sure. Bring it on since they are here.

We’ll beat that arse along with LSU’s.

DiNardo ran away scared of another loss to A&M.

A conference is ultimately a business partnership. The sips have proven repeatedly to be bad business partners always looking to screw over the other partners. Nobody but OU has ever really wanted to be in business with them.

Also I find it a pretty severe lack of self awareness when Alabama and Auburn fans chime in on these otherwise LSU generated troll threads. Those schools went several decades refusing to play each other until some politician forced them.
