I would look to hold out and cancel if an agreement isn't come to play the game as scheduled so I can get the money from insurance due to the game not being played.

Makes perfect sense, but I'll spell the thesis out for you. I seriously doubt that you care so much about the state of affairs in Florida right now to continuing pushing this narrative in admonishment of LSU fans reacting over the football game. If I had to guess, your indignation comes from losing a home game to LSU last year, a situation in which I remember you almost losing your mind over; despite the fact LSU did everything it could to accommodate South Carolinians from the administration to players.
You continue to push this narrative in order to troll LSU fans, manipulating a disaster you really don't care about to that end. So in fact, you are not really concerned, and so much that you would use the unfortunate situation to the advantage of your psychologically disturbed impulses.

I'd play the game. LSU is not pussies like the University of Forfeit is though.
